Founded in 1974 by Mick and Rae Blomfield, Blomfield Excavations has been shaping the Gladstone region for nearly five decades. What began as a small family operation has grown into one of the area’s most respected and capable civil and resource companies.

We remain 100% privately owned and fiercely local. That means decisions are made by people who live here, with a genuine commitment to the region and the people who call it home.

We run our own fully equipped workshop with diesel fitters, boilermakers and apprentices. We source from local suppliers. And we deliver projects with the personal touch that large corporates simply cannot match.

In-house Workshop

Our workshop employs five diesel fitters, boilermakers, spray painters and apprentices. Every machine is serviced and maintained to the highest standard before it ever reaches site.

Local Quarries

Multiple operating quarries across the region give us complete control over material quality and supply — from Calliope and Benaraby through to Iveragh and Kunwarrara.
